A Birthday Gift That Gives Back: Outreach Activity for Eric Allison’s Birthday
Last March 23, 2022, our team celebrated E's birthday by giving the gift of kindness at Hospicio de San Jose. This organization provides shelter, care, and love to abandoned, orphaned, and neglected children, as well as to those who are physically and mentally challenged.

More than just the warmth we felt from meeting these kids, it was also overwhelming and touching to witness staff and volunteers making the place feel like home to these children.
The smiles of each and everyone tell many stories of life—of struggles, of dreams—yet they hold life without bitterness in their hearts. Maybe that is the beauty of being a child—that in having a pure heart, they don’t hold grudges.
We provided the children with nutritious food, and it was amazing to see how they were enthralled with every bite despite their circumstances.
We also gave the children a chance to showcase their artistic talents through drawing, where they expressed their gratitude through vibrant colors and meaningful sketches.
It was not just a celebration of E's birthday but an opportunity to give back to our community and make a meaningful impact on the lives of these children.
Even though we were only there for a few hours, the memories and connections we made with these kids will stay with us forever.
