We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Recruiter Team Lead to lead our recruitment team in identifying, attracting, and placing qualified physicians. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry, and a proven track record in physician recruitment. As the Physician Recruiter Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment team, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:


  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of Physician Recruiters, providing guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure the achievement of recruitment targets.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the recruitment team.

  2. Recruitment Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy for physicians, aligning with the organization's goals and industry best practices.
    • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the healthcare landscape.

  3. Sourcing and Networking:
    • Implement effective sourcing strategies to attract and build a pipeline of qualified physicians.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and other relevant organizations.

  4. Candidate Screening and Selection:
    • Oversee the screening and selection process to ensure the recruitment of highly qualified and competent physicians.
    • Conduct interviews and assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and compatibility with specific roles and healthcare facilities.

  5. Client Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with healthcare facilities and clients to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.

  6. Negotiation and Contracting:
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of physician placements, including compensation packages and contractual agreements.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards in the contracting process.

  7. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the recruitment team.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on recruitment metrics, team performance, and market insights.

  8. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the physician recruitment process.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in physician recruitment.

Qualifications:


  • Must have 3 solid years experience in physician recruitment, with a track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment goals.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical qualifications, and physician recruitment dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
