TeamRecruit does it again with our first LIVE conference, #IgniteCon2022, with the conference theme: Igniting Your Passion, Productivity, and Purpose.
The timing was perfect for holding our first live conference where TeamRecruit employees, both veterans and newbies, had a chance to convene and bond in an event fostering professional development and camaraderie.
Held at the Marquis Events Place in BGC, Taguig City, on May 20 of this year, #IgniteCon2022 introduces the idea of the TeamRecruit champion evolving as individuals realizing their highest potential. The conference activities were composed of back-to-back interactive workshops, insightful panel discussions on the success secrets of our top recruiters, and an inspirational talk on the conference theme from our CMO, Cybill Getgood.
Welcome, and a tribute to our organizers
Cybill opened the conference by honoring the event organizers who efficiently pulled off this successful, well-attended gathering in less than five days. The conference organizers were composed of Marketing, HR, and TA members. Then, the attendees were encouraged to get to know each other by finding ten things they have in common with the people at their table, and the winners got a lot of goodies.
TeamRecruit loves to have fun and give away prizes, as raffles were drawn randomly throughout the event.
A talk that transcended timezones (and tech difficulties)
Cybill’s talk on Harnessing the Power of Your Purpose was eye-opening and inspiring, despite some technical glitches. She talked about the Art of Ikigai –a Japanese concept of the individual discovering their reason for being– creating purpose, and harnessing its power to champion the role of a recruiter and evolve as an individual.
It’s always a successful talk when people are moved to tears, even for those who live-streamed the event. Cybill’s talk was an instant crowd favorite.

Recruiters x Marketers: A collab we never knew we needed
A rare activity facilitated by Cybill allowed the recruiters to collaborate in person with our marketing team for a day. The teams were given two job descriptions, one for healthcare and another for tech. Recruiters sourced the candidates, created the FAB sheets with the help of the Marketing team, and presented their finished work to the panel for evaluation. It’s a collab we didn’t know we needed. Congratulations, Team Jonnah, for a job well done!
And the winners of the night
King Jonas, last month’s million peso winner, took home the award for Recruiter of the Quarter. And Sef Patubo, who was inducted into the President’s Club that night, the first non-recruiter to join its ranks. Congratulations!
